Description
A Whole Food Vitamin C Supplement That is Simply Perfect…
Introducing – Perfect Acerola Powder…

Why Do I Need Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient that acts as an antioxidant in our body. While Vitamin C plays many roles in our body, here are some of the highlights:
- A Powerful Antioxidant That Can Boost Your Body’s Natural Defenses*
- Helps Protect Cells from Damage Caused By Free Radicals*
- Supports Healthy Immune Functions*
- Needed for the Body to Make Collagen*
- Increases Absorption of Iron and Nutrients from Foods*
- Helps Shorten Wound Healing Times*
- Aides in Strengthening and Repairing Your Skin*
- Potential Protective Effect on Memory As We Age*
Can’t My Body Just Make Vitamin C?

Unfortunately, if you are human, you just can’t make Vitamin C.
It’s a long story involving evolutionary mutations, but the key point – humans, unlike most animals, no longer have the ability to make their own Vitamin C.
This means we need to get Vitamin C from our diet. In addition, since Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, we can not store it in the body. Any Vitamin C we get from our diet is either used by our body or excreted – no storing it up for a rainy day. 🙂
Organic Acerola Cherries – Vitamin C and So Much More
When you think about Vitamin C rich foods, oranges are probably the first thing that comes to mind. While oranges are rich in Vitamin C, the tiny but mighty Acerola Cherry has anywhere from 50-125 times the vitamin C of oranges!
In addition to bursting with Vitamin C, the Acerola Cherry is also rich in numerous phytonutrients such as carotenoids and anthocyanins.
To put a cherry on top of this Vitamin C story, Acerola also has a tart but delicious taste which makes it a wonderful way to increase the Vitamin C in your diet.
Simply put, if you stood in a forest and screamed to Mother Nature…
“Please, what is the perfect Vitamin C superfood?”
She would shower you with Acerola Cherries!
There Is One Problem With Fresh Acerola Cherries…
They ripen and spoil very quickly after being picked. If you want to consume fresh Acerola Cherries, you only have about 5 days from when they are picked before they begin to spoil.
In addition, as the Acerola ripens, the Vitamin C content decreases.
As most Acerola grows in South America, it makes getting fresh, Vitamin C rich Acerola Cherries in the US very difficult.
So, how can we get unripened, nutrient dense, bursting with Vitamin C Acerola Cherries here in the US…
INTRODUCING FREEZE DRIED ORGANIC PERFECT ACEROLA
By gently freeze drying unripened Organic Acerola Cherries from Brazil, we are able to create an Acerola Powder that has all of the nutrients of the Acerola Cherries, is shelf stable, contains no other ingredients and tastes great!
But Why Not Do a Blend of Different Fruits?
Funny, we asked the same question when we started to formulate this product. We actually spent a few years researching and getting lab work on all the Vitamin C rich foods such as:
- Acerola Cherry
- Camu Camu
- Amla Berry
- Rosehip
- Aronia Berry
- Oranges
- Strawberries
- Lemon Peel
- Orange Peel
- Sargo Palm
- Kakadu Plum
- And more…
We were looking for ALL the ingredients that could meet these requirements:
- Packed With Vitamin C
- Freeze Dried to Lock In Nutrients
- Lab Tested to be Clean and Pure
- Ethically Harvested
- Organic
- Rich in Phytonutrients
- Mixes Well in Liquids
- Tastes Good
In the end Acerola Berry stood head and shoulders above the other ingredients.
From a marketing standpoint, it might have been nice to talk about our proprietary blend of fruits, but that’s not how we roll. Acerola was the best ingredient, so we kept it simple and went with the best.
We use a slight variation to the KISS design principal…

Is This Really Better Than Synthetic Vitamin C?
The chemical name for Vitamin C is ascorbic acid. There are a number of inexpensive Vitamin C supplements made from synthetic ascorbic acid.
There is much debate about the bioavailability of whole food Vitamin C vs synthetic ascorbic acid. Even though we feel a strong case can be made for the body having an easier time absorbing Vitamin C from food as opposed to a synthetic source, for the sake of argument, let’s assume bioavailability is the same.
Perfect Acerola – Whole Food Vitamin C and So Much More
To see why our Perfect Acerola has a huge advantage over synthetic ascorbic acid, you just need to look at our Supplement Facts…
You are not only getting 240mg of Vitamin C – you are getting all the other phytonutrients that are in the 1300mg of Freeze-Dried Organic Acerola.
Cheap Ascorbic Acid Supplement
By contrast, an ascorbic acid product’s Supplement Facts will look like this…
You get only the 200mg of ascorbic acid and absolutely nothing else.
We firmly believe that when Mother Nature gives you a fruit packed with Vitamin C and other nutrients, you would be wise to take all that she is offering.
Then There Is The Whole GMO Corn Thing With Synthetics…
Many of the Ascorbic Acid supplements on the market are made from GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) Corn. Corn is basically treated with chemicals or enzymes to produce ascorbic acid.
Are you starting to see why our whole food, nutrient dense Perfect Acerola (100% Organic and Non-GMO) is superior to synthetic ascorbic acid?
Suggested Use:

The Perfect Acerola powder is easy to use and if you are into sour and tart, you will love the flavor.
- Add a 1/4 teaspoon to water, juice, or any beverage.
- Stir well
- Drink and enjoy!
You can also get creative and mix Acerola into smoothies, ice cream, chocolate, baked goods or any other recipe that you want to enhance with its pleasant tart taste.
Here are a few simple tips to get the most out of the Perfect Acerola…
- Pure Acerola will get sticky when wet, so make sure to keep the powder in the bottle dry
- Always use a dry spoon when scooping out the Acerola
- Dump the Acerola off the spoon and into your drink, then stir. This keeps the Acerola from sticking to your spoon
- When done with the Perfect Acerola, screw the lid on tight and store in the refrigerator
- You like sour? Use 4 ounces of liquid. Don’t like sour? Use more liquid.
